The centre of Playa Blanca and the beautiful sandy beaches of Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada are approximately 10 minutes away by car. Alternatively, a regular bus service runs every 30 minutes from a nearby bus stop.
The area offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, windsurfing, coastal walks and fishing, as well as a wide range of excursions and activities for exploring the island. The beautiful coastline and beaches around Playa Blanca provide many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year.
Playa Blanca itself has an excellent choice of restaurants, ranging from traditional Canarian cuisine and fresh seafood to a wide variety of international dishes. There are also numerous bars and cafés, including venues offering live music in the evenings.
